Search For The Physical Correlate Of The Spirit
The spirit is the circular string of energy.
That explains why all distinctions between entities break down in the spiritual realm.
A circle knows no start and no end. It is just a continuous journey.
Therefore, I believe that spirits visually look like halos.

To the human eyes, the above image of a black hole would be the best representation.
If we try to explain qualia only in terms of the material, the problem becomes intractable.
Qualia has properties that is not present in most materials but light.
Light is the visible material that does not get restricted by the fabric of spacetime.
Light doesn’t conquer other materials. When the light enters the water, it doesn’t destroy water to go faster, but yields to the water and slows down.
That’s why refraction occurs.
Light also is a pure form of energy. Light is massless.
The geometric shape of circle represents the absence of boundaries.
In the material realm, boundaries separate cold from hot, high from low and east from west.
However, in the spiritual realm, there are no boundaries.
The spiritual realm is the cosmos, so the cosmos knows no left and no right.
By the way, the spiritual realm is not separate from the material realm. The material realm is the spiritual realm, or the cosmos.
So Are You Saying That The Spirit Is Totally Independent Of Material
No. Then it would be hard to explain why neurological damage often leads to loss of physical or mental functions.
All human beings are body + mind + spirit and the brain is the interface between the body/mind and the spirit.
You can think of the brain as a computer monitor.
Since we can’t directly interact with the CPU, we use the monitor to do so.
If the monitor gets damaged, our capacity to interact with the CPU decreases.
This is what happens during a neurological damage.
However, of course, the neurological damage is ephemeral and the spirit is eternally intact.
The brain is where the body and the mind meet the spirit.
Then Where In The Brain Is This Taking Place?
I believe that action potential is only the manifestation of the mental activity that has taken place.
Cognition probably starts inside the neuron.
I personally believe that it’s either the microtubules or the Arc proteins that are making the existence of spirit in the material realm possible.
As I said before, the spirit can be represented by a halo, a circular string of energy.
What makes the light travel in a circle?
First, a black hole. However, the black hole hopefully doesn’t exist inside our heads, so no.
Secondly, a circular assembly of proteins that can exchange photons.
This case, it would be possible to move photons in a circle.
I think this is the most probable scenario and some of the major circular protein complexes present in neurons are the microtubules and the Arc proteins.
Of course, I do not possess the experimental data yet, but I think this can be an interesting possibility to explore.
To people with a neuroscience laboratory, please consider this hypothesis.
